On November 4, 2013 you both preformed a successful Craniotomy on a Acoustic Neuroma on the right side of my brain at Duke University Hospital.
I want to take this opportunity to say “Thank you.” That seems such a small gift for a monumental task; for me this was not only a physical journey, but a spiritual one. We all have a destiny, a dharma to fullfill, your expertise and skill to all in need, bless you. You both possess the greatest gift of all; knowledge and skill that you share with other surgeons to carry on your legacies, “Thank you.”
Everything happens for a reason, mine was to move from California to Williamsburg. VA, to be told over and over to go to Duke University; to come under your care Dr. Fukushima and the care of your capable colleague and friend Dr.Fukushima.
I had an overwhelming challenge in my life, and through the grace of God and the gifts you both possess as brain surgeons, I am here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I am a grateful and better person for having you both touch my life.
May love, humility and gratitude continue to full your lives and to bless you and those you touch.
Just a short note to thank you for taking such good care of my daughter, Jamison.
I am so very thank for that god lead us to you. You are truly an amazing doctor the very best in the world. This is the opinion of everyone that knows you. You have saved my daughter’s life and I will be eternally grateful to you for that. I wish you all good thing. May you enjoy much continual good health, love and happiness and may all the joy you give to others return to you tenfold.
